We interpreted that Argentina's quality potential could be pushed to levels in line with the extreme personality of its soil, its plentiful sunshine and the rarity of its ancient ungrafted vineyards, almost an exclusivity in today's world of viticulture. Terrific from first sip, sublime after a decant. Deep currant, cranberry, juicy. Clever blending of grape varietals that culminates in an extremely balanced and well structured product with elegant finish. My prediction? This wine will age well. But who will let it? Too yummy. If only it were a tad cheaper...sigh...

Expressive flavors of black cherry, raspberry, violets, and cedar, Quimera is complex, layered and rich. It is recommended that wine decant at least an hour before drinking. This wine can be cellared for 10-20 years.

A Bordeaux-style blend with an Argentinian twist - there\'s more Malbec than anything else.

Full medium ruby. Aromas of crushed blackberry, licorice, chocolatey oak and clove oil. Supple, sweet and full, but with lively acidity giving excellent delineation to the fresh blackberry and spice flavors.
