In the glass I see a deep purple color, with violet overtones. I smell the perfume of plums, chocolate and coffee, with a mineral note of graphite and humus. This is a complex, terroir driven wine. My first impression in mouth is velvety, and then the wine opens in an explosion of mature tannins. I find again the flavors of fruits and chocolate, the alcohol in balance with the acidity. The finish is balsamic and persistent. And in the empty glass the aroma of sweet tobacco lingers.
