Winemaker Notes - Our 2007 Chardonnay shows elegant layers of citrus, apple and nectarine fruit character from grapes grown in the cool, wind-swept vineyards of the Los Carneros region. Complex honeycomb and cr me br l e nuances add interest to the fruity aromas and then persist through the flavors and lingering finish. Barrel fermentation and aging add notes of toasted hazelnut and weight to the palate.
