Acacia Pinot Noir Carneros 2010
Acacia achieves depth of flavor in their Carneros Pinot Noir by blending their estate-grown grapes with wines made from the vineyards that produce their Single Vineyard Selection series. Controlling every aspect of viticulture is critical to quality. On the palate, it offers a silky and seductive texture and particularly long-lasting flavors. This wine makes a good match to roasted meats, in particular roast lamb.
Not a very good wine. Picked up a couple glasses at Busch Gardens in December 2013. Not much of an aroma, tart flavors with moderate tannins.

Acacia Carneros Pinot Noir exhibits seductive rose, teaberry and Satsuma plum aromas. Intriguingly layered red- and black-fruit flavors, complemented by delicate spice notes and buttressed by silky tannins, stay harmonious through the lingering finish.
Dry, earthy, herbal and dried currant and berry flavors fail to stand up to the drier leathery flavors.
