Leesy aromas of fig, melon and lemon cream. Plump in the mouth, with pineapple and mango flavors. Finishes a bit flat, with some alcoholic warmth.
Excellent value. Reveals copious quantities of tropical fruit in addition to subtle wood and crisp acidity. Not surprisingly, the acidity is more noticeable in the 2000 than in the 2001, but both are well-made, medium-weight, fruit-driven whites to enjoy during their first 1ndash;2 years of life.
A ripe, fleshy, soft style, with pretty toasty oak wrapped around fig, vanilla, pear and apricot flavors. Well-focused and long on the finish, a tasty delight. Drink now through 2005.
