Suggested Recipe Pairing presented by
Coconut Rice Sweet Potato Cheesecake

RiceSelect's creamy Arborio gets blended with sweet potato, coconut milk and vanilla to create this decadent cheesecake. Pairs well with Saunternes; a white dessert wine that has hints of coconut from aging in oak barrels.

User Reviews for Abreu "Madrona Ranch" Napa Cabernet Sauvignon

Winemaker's Notes:

98 points Robert Parker: The 2002 Cabernet Sauvignon Madrona Ranch has turned out better out of bottle than it was from cask. An extraordinary expression of Cabernet Sauvignon with ethereal notes of Asian spice, white flowers, creme de cassis, licorice, blackberries, and roasted espresso, the wine cascades over the palate with no hard edges. Extraordinarily pure, rich, and sweet with everything in perfect proportions and integrated impeccably, this is a monumental Cabernet Sauvignon with complexity, finesse, and amazing balance. It should drink well young but keep for 20 or more years. This is a prodigious effort from Napa's top viticulturalist - a man who has had an enormously positive impact on the quality of the finest wines of Napa Valley. (Dec 2005)
