Campfire aromas, think burnt wood and toasted marshmallows. A little bit of sour funk, ripe bananas. The mouth is fairly smooth and creamy, with a heavy gritty finish. Not easily approachable, but rewarding.
Hmm...a bit of sweet candied fruit here, but very smokey as well even with some hints of runts candy! The palette brings a mouthful of hot fruit and tannin, making this a very puzzling wine, which I like!
