Shared a bottle of this delicious wine excellently suited to the local pasta speciality (a variety of ravioli), in the Taverna dell Colleoni, Bergamo, with friends on a nice sunny day, is the way to taste it. (July 2010).

Alto Adige is in the foothills of the Alps just over the border with Austria and the region has a long history of Germanic culture and language. The German name of this property is Stiftskellerei Neustift. The Sylvaner is crisp and bright with a mineral note along with aromas of lime and green apple, the finish is long and clean.
