AGEING: 24 months. DES. ORIGIN: Vino de la Tierra de Castilla y León. GRAPE VARIETIES: * 100% Tempranillo ALCOHOL VOLUME: 14,5 % SERVING TEMPERATURE: 17-18 ºC DESCRIPTION: It comes from a Tempranillo vineyard planted on clayey soil with pebbles and alluvial soils from the River Duero. After complete maceration and after the malolactic fermentation, it developed its potential in new French oak casks. This Tempranillo showed an excellent ripeness that offers fragrant aromas of strawberry, liquorice, aromatic herbs and minerals, together with silky tannins. A superb wine. WINEMAKING PROCESS: Plot located on the banks of the Duero, 300 metres from the river itself and at a height above sea level of 720 metres. The soil is typical of the alluvial soils of the Duero: quite clayey mixed with pebbles and sand. The level of the ground-water table is relatively close which means that the vines are self-regulating with regard to water.
