Winemaker's Notes:

This vintage represents the first finished wine that is a blend of fruit from our Cox's Rock and Cobblestone Hill estate vineyards. In addition this wine also contains fruit from Steelhead Run and Del Rio vineyards. Blackberries, spice and lavender aromas precede a richly textured, medium-full bodied finish. This wine also epitomizes our foremost blending priority: an intense, deep core of very ripe fruit. We feel this wine will offer prime accompaniment to dishes like Mediterranean lamb kabobs with aromatic jasmine rice. It will improve in the bottle for the next seven to ten years. As this unfined and unfiltered wine will form sediment over time, decanting is recommended.
