A to Z Wineworks:
The fruit reveals the wine to the winemaker. Accordingly, the winemaker shepherds the wine rather than makes it. Notably, there is no word for “winemaker” in French, Italian or Spanish: one is a vigneron, viticoltore or vinicultor, the idea being that the wine is made in the vineyard.

This sleek red is tightly packed, with delicate layers of cherry, tobacco and cocoa flavors that mingle against refined tannins, persisting pleasantly on the light-stepping finish. Drink now through 2017. 136,686 cases made. -HS Light, bright red. High-pitched strawberry and rose scents show good clarity and pick up spiciness with air. Clean and brisk, in the style of the vintage, but a modicum of sweetness gives the red fruit flavors a sense of depth. Closes tangy and slightly firm, with good cut and length. ** SOLD OUT **

OregonA to Z Oregon Pinot Gris is a delightful red wine from the Pacific Northwest. Founded in 2002, A to Z Wineworks is Oregon's fastest growing winery. Their business model is simple: to produce and market Oregon's best wine values by concentrating on their core competencies of acquisition, blending and marketing. We especially appreciate the company's slogan, "Aristocratic Wines at Democratic Prices!" This 2011 Pinot Noir was ranked in Wine Spectator's Top 100 Wines of 2013!
