A To Z Pinot Noir Pinot Noir Usa Oregon a To Z Winery 2008
Great clear ruby Pinot Noir color. A beautiful cornucopia of fresh ripe red fruits immediately jumps out from the nose. Sweet dark ripe raspberries violets fresh spices lavender hints of oak and cassis emerge after the initial blast of fruit. The wine is most obviously very ripe perfumed heady and redolent of high-toned notes of bright red fruits.
The wine had tones of berries and a hint so smokiness to it. The overall taste was tight but perhaps if I had let it open up for an hour or so it may have made a difference. I general I thought the wine was fair but for the 18.00 price tag I would not stock up on this one. Keep looking for a great one under 20.00
Nice nose, a little thin for a Pinot Noir from Willamette Valley. The finish had a nice berry flavor, but short. I had hoped for better. 2008 was an awesome year for Pinot Noir in Willamette Valley, but this wins misses the mark. Reasonable bargain at $15 from Safeway (with 6 pack discount). I will not buy again.

It's a substandard wine, priced between $15-18 a bottle most places, it would be overpriced at $10. It's also screw top, so if you enjoy a light hint of savory aluminum, this wine's for you.

The 2008 A to Z Oregon Pinot Noir reveals all of the depth, concentration and beauty of the 2008 vintage. Deeply colored with aromas of minerals, red and black cherries, and spice, the wine opens in the mouth with rich, red and blue fruits, dark spice and dusty tannins. Great ripe acidity and tannic structure bring balance to this classic, succulent, intense wine, perhaps the most beautiful Pinot Noir we have made.
Vivid red. Blackberry, cherry and peppery herbs on the nose. Sappy, spicy dark fruit flavors show good energy and focus but could use a bit more flesh. Finishes firm and tangy, with modest length.
This is a little earthier (than MacMurray). It has that rainy, forest floor feel to it, an accurate representation of Oregon pinot. I can see it with chicken with mushrooms in a cream sauce. Mushroom anything, salmon anything, game bird anything...it would also be fantastic with a carbonara.

Affordable Pinot Noir from Oregon! Black cherries and red raspberries on the palate. Juicy with lush fruit and a great fresh finish. Light tannins and drinking well today.
