A. R. Lenoble Champagne Brut Nature Dosage Zero NV

Winemaker's Notes:

93 points Allen Meadows (Burghound): A beautifully complex nose reflects notes of brioche, yeast and baked apple trimmed in a bit of citrus that gives way to crisp, intense and utterly delicious flavors that also possess fine depth and in contrast to some versions of this genre, while there is good fruit, it's a background element but as the category suggests, the finish is very dry. I very much like this because while it is quite dry with seriously copious effervescence, there is nothing aggressive about it. Drink now with pleasure or age for a few years if your taste runs to well-aged Champagne. This is well worth considering. Drink: now+. (Oct 2009)

Tasting Notes:

Eye: Brilliant, radiant golden tints. Nose: Very expressive, full and rounded, evolving into light aromas of white fruit. Palate: Fresh and delicate. Hints of white and yellow- fruit flavors with dried fruit aromas.
