grassy, herbaceous with citrus notes on the nose. very aromatic. peachy, citrus flavors, very summery and perfect for the beach
It will remind you of the sweet smell of the sea in the morning. Easy drinking, no agressive notes that will surprise you - which is best for appetizers. It's a very slow but consistent morphing of fruity flavors, doesn't linger much though. Very relaxing despite the short finish. Paired this with an entire vegetarian course, starting with a spinach-artichoke dip and progressing to salad greens and mushrooms. It's a great contrast for the cream and pasta, and completely complementary to roasted veggies (citrus, very subtle hints of berries) It should work well with fish and chicken as well I would presume.
A nose of crisp spicy citrus, straw in color. A smooth easy drinking white, lemon zest, grape fruit, minerals and a very long finish, has more weight than a New Zealand Sauvignon Blanc. I was not a big fan of a Sauvignon Blanc, more of a Chardonnay fan for whites, but this was very enjoyable, seek it out. www.winelx.com
