I have fallen in LOVE with the reds out of this vineyard in the Cohchugua Valley of Chile. Their fresh, distinctive quality and absolute definitive & distinctive freshness, purity, and adherence to the grape varietal flavor is beyond phenomenal. What I love even more is that for the price points on these wines, you are getting better taste & quality for your dollar; definitely NOT overpaying for wine- you are UNDERPAYING for the quality of the syrah, carmenere, and cabernet. I have the best description of their med-heavy reds - DECADENT VELVET WITH ABSOLUTE PERFECTED PURITY & DINSTINCTIVE FRESHNESS. TRY THEIR WINES! THEY ARE WELL WORTH THE PRICE UNDER $20 for young vintages- and the quality increases yearly uncorked! THESE ARE BEYOND BEST BUYS! THESE ARE BEST EVERS! Read less

One of the best sauvignon blanc values on the market. This and the fournier sauvignon blanc are the best under $10.

I first tried this in-store, out of a little plastic cup, on a Friday night after a long week of grueling officework. I was not expecting to like a sauvignon blanc anything. I wanted red. Then this aroma -- a vegetable aroma, but very crisp, fresh, hit my nose. I tasted. At first, "pear" appeared ... but no. It's green pepper picked fresh from the garden, still sweet with no pepper bite. Excellent. I asked the price ($9.99) and took two bottles home. It's a warm spring day, the sun is setting through the newly unfurled leaves, and the wine is perfect. A very good find.

Lots of tropical fruit flavours give this wine a unique style. Bottled on the estate. The vineyard is sub-divided into very small lots, for nutrient and water requirements on an individual basis. This helps to ensure balance, ripening and consistency of the grapes. Vina Echeverria is a long established Chilean family owned and managed Estate, producing high quality wines. Their 75 hectares of vineyards, in one single block, and their state-of-art winery are located on the outskirts of the town of Molina in the Curicó Valley, 200Km south of Santiago. Vina Echeverria only make wine from their estate grown grapes, all of which originate from ungrafted select clones of pre-phylloxera French rootstock of Cabernet Sauvignon (48%), Sauvignon Blanc (30%), Chardonnay (20%) and Merlot (2%). High priority is given to care in the vineyards and canopy management to control vegetative growth. Exposure to sunlight and air movement on the leaves are maximised, leading to almost organic vit...
