4 Bears Cabernet Sauvignon Napa Valley 2006
Member Review by drdebs:
Cab, Merlot, PV. 18% new oak. $17. A little hot, but it's a bit too warmed. Cedar and plummy, cassis aromas and flavors. Pure, cassis fruit and tobacco on the midpalate. Exceptionally good for the price.

A veteran of the wine industry with more than 22 years experience, Sean Minor’s fine wine career began with Beaulieu Vineyard (BV) in Napa Valley before taking an opportunity to manage Oregon’s King Estate Winery, and later accepting an appointment as President of Benton-Lane Winery. He returned to California to manage Renwood Winery before he and his wife Nicole decided to start their own wine company. Their first offering is under the Four Bears brand, aptly named after their four children.
The focus for Four Bears wines is quite simple: Create delicious, approachable wines with expressive, terroir-driven flavors. Read less
