Truth be told, the moose aren’t blind. They just think it’s cool to share good wine with friends, minus the pomp and ceremony. So, if your herd likes fresh, tasty wines that complement a wide range of casual cuisines, introduce them to these umoosetakably good wines from 3 blind moose. No shades required.
Drank at Mom's during the Bears NFC Championship game.
Red fruit, simple, acid, medium tannin, chocolate, light-medium body, light color. Boring.
Surprisingly drinkable! Simple, light body, medium acid, roundish, dark and red fruit, dusty. Chocolate.
A good inexpensive wine
Although this was an impulse buy, this wine was both light and refreshing. If I did not know better, I might even say it was a pinot noir. It was not bitter or tannic, and mild in every sense of the word. I tend to like much heavier wines, but my rating is based on what it is (not what I like). I would easily recommend this wine to someone that is looking for a way to move from white wines to red wines. They would be pleasantly surprised by this merlot.
