A bit of a stewy character on the nose; hint of tomato paste and bell peppers in the background of brambling red and black fruit. Slight astringent tannins, tart and bitter with a bit of warm sweetness on the finish. Definitely a chewy wine. Can't wait to see how it ages.Add winemaker's notes

If you love your asparagus wrapped in bacon and your filet dripping with blue cheese, this wine delivers the steakhouse complement - ripe and delicious... but somewhere, deep down inside it wants to be Bordeaux. Note: Rating was given to a prior tasting of this wine. The rating does not change (up or down) from recent tasting.
This wine is lucious with tones of ripe red fruits, chocolate and smoke. Extremely well structured.
warm and inviting nose, with a taste that is lasting in complexity.....only comment would be it needs time to really show
Beautiful wine, will continue to improve with bottle age as tannins soften.
