Add your reviewA bit of a stewy character on the nose; hint of tomato paste and bell peppers in the background of brambling red and black fruit. Slight astringent tannins, tart and bitter with a bit of warm sweetness on the finish. Definitely a chewy wine. Can't wait to see how it ages.
If you love your asparagus wrapped in bacon and your filet dripping with blue cheese, this wine delivers the steakhouse complement - ripe and delicious... but somewhere, deep down inside it wants to be Bordeaux. Note: Rating was given to a prior tasting of this wine. The rating does not change (up or down) from recent tasting.

warm and inviting nose, with a taste that is lasting in complexity.....only comment would be it needs time to really show

Winemaker's Notes:
Vineyard 29’s Aida Estate Vineyard is located 2 miles north of the 29 Estate vineyard on Highway 29. It is a historic property that has produced wine since the 1920s when Petite Sirah vines were first planted at this site. In 2001, Chuck and Anne acquired Aida as an ideal complement to Vineyard 29’s home vines. An upgrade of the vineyard was immediately undertaken with several vine blocks being replanted. Cabernet sauvignon now serves as the backbone for our Aida Estate vineyard.
