- Grown by ninth generation Californian James Ontiveros from one of the vineyard's oldest blocks, it is a selection of Swan and Benedict Clones, the latter from the venerable Sanford & Benedict Vineyard. These are two of the most distinct clones available. Production is 75 cases. Shows a deeply polished nose of black cherry and smoke. The palate shows a little mineral, smoky cherry and lavender with lingering elegance and solid acidity. These wines need three hours of air or decanting.
