What to Expect

Chardonnay is America's most popular grape and with good reason. Made in styles that range from steely, mineral laced wines with crisp green apple fruit to wines that are buttery, rich, and laden with tropical fruits, there is a Chardonnay that will appeal to every palate. Winemakers Notes

Blanc de Blancs (white from white) is the counterpart of Blanc de Noirs (white from black), made from the Chardonnay grape. Blanc de Blancs was the first wine we produced in 1965 and was Americas first commercially produced Chardonnay based sparkling wine. This wine is dry and crisp with abundant flavors of lemon, apple, pear and pineapple. Small lots of malolactic and barrel-fermented wines are added for complexity. The wine is aged on the yeast lees in the bottle for about three years prior to disgorgement.
