Tasting Notes:
The wine is deeply Cabernet colored, complex and layered in blackberry and current fruit. The intriguing Sangiovese varietal adds linear tannins and an indigenous fruitiness. The Petit Sirah adds a firm structural backbone and a fresh, bright acidity to the wine. Overall, Bacio Divino is balanced, precocious in its youth, generous in flavor and aroma, yet retains an elegance not always found in California wines.

[Jean George] black fruit, cherry, vanilla, smoke, spice, and tannins; long oaky finish. Nice balance for such a young and big wine.

[Salt, Rabbit Pot Pie] First wiff was lovely raspberry. Began as cherry, chocolate, smoke, and mint on the palate. The aroma quickly deterioriated to cheap primativo, but on the palate it kept improving with more concentrated raspberry, smoke, and mild oak. It aslo greatly improved on the nose. It was a little tight initally, but improved over ~1.5 hours. Needs to be decanted for > 1.5 hours. Very enjoyable, I guess that I wull have to buy more.

[FM Lobels Gorgonzola] Prior to the steak, it was started a little tight and rough. However, with the steak, nice berries, licorice and nilla on the nose. Smooth, balanced. licorice, smoke with mil oak on the palate. a little less more restrained than the previous bottles but enjoyed. KAB still loves it.
