Food Pairings for 2 Up Shiraz
Had this wine with an Italian dinner on July 22 2009. Pretty well balanced. Cherries on the nose, and Cherry and chocolate flavors. This was a pop and pour at the restaurant so it did not have time to breathe. If it had decanted for 30 min to an hour it would have been better. Overall I enjoyed this. 88pts

91 Points - Wine Enthusiats TWO UP was so jammy with strong blueberry and plum fruit. It also had tremendous mouth drying tannins. This is a big wine and not what I'm accustomed to from Kangarooville. The alcohol was finely integrated. The wine had a terrific fruity nose, a hint of chocolate, and a really beautiful dark color. It retails for around $13 which is a complete steal for this level of wine. Comparable California Syrahs of this quality that I hold dear to my heart would be in the $30 range.
Dark lush fruit predominately blueberry with obvious oak and some pepper spice. Good mouth feel and acidity and noticeable tannins. Same fruits profile on the palate with toasted vanilla.
A Syrah wine from South Australia in Australia. 2007 2 UP Shiraz 750ml
Vineyards from three unique locations were used to achieve the perfect balance of fruit, spice and color Grapes from McLaren Vale added depth and texture with the distinctive terroir flavors of black plum and red cherry Langhorne Creek and Southern Fleurieu vineyards contributed to the vibrant crimson color and notes of blackberry, dark fruits and spice
Dark berries with spicy stewed plums and dark cherries. Long lingering finish reflecting blackberries and blueberries on the palate, with fine tannins and notes of complex spices.
