Flavor Profile:"14 Hands Merlot begins with distinctive aromas of dark fruits, baking spice and earth which are typical of the variety when grown in Washington. Subtle flavors of boysenberry, pie crust and allspice, surrounding a bright cherry core, are supported by a framework of supple tannins and culminate with a lengthy, lush finish." - Keith Kenison, WinemakerTechnical Data:Blend: 78% Merlot, 11% Syrah, 9% Cabernet Sauvignon, & 2% other premium red varietiesAppellation: Washington stateAlcohol: 13.5%Total Acidity: 0.52g/100mlpH: 3.67
Aromas of blackberries, plums and black cherries. Expressive flavors of berries and cherries are joined by subtle nuances of mocha and spice. While soft and approachable, this wine maintains a firm backbone of tannins.
