Deeeeeelicious! I really like it. I just bought a 6 pack at Raley's. I paid only like $9 a bottle with sale price and 10% discount. This wine has great fruit, a little vanilla and coco, a little oak but not dry, and even though it is 13.5% alcohol you can't even taste the alcohol. This wine is a heck of a great deal. I could down this right out of the bottle. I think this wine is worth over $20. I know that the 2009 got a Thumbs Up value of $24 - if I am remembering correctly, which I think I am, because I have a memory like a zebra.

Very good wine for the price. Sharp, tannic flavor. Smells a little musty, but that doesn't carry into the taste.

One word ... YUM. We've been enjoying 14 Hands wines for several years now. Not found in most stores. We ordered cases directly from Washington, but now available at CostPlus World Market. I never liked red wines until I tasted 14 Hands. Cab just as great as the Merlot. Easy to drink, NO nasty tannin, oaky taste. Excellent with red meats & pasta.

Little sweet, drinkable, for the price a winner.

Columbia Valley, Washington 14 Hands Cabernet Sauvignon is a lively Cab with aromas of berries and cherries. Soft, round tannins create a lingering finish. Grapes were primarily sourced from warmer sites in the Horse Heaven Hills and on the Wahluke Slope. Fruit from the Yakima Valley and other regions of the Columbia Valley played a supporting role. 14 Hands Cabernet Sauvignon features aromas of cherries and currants with subtle hints of spice and dried herbs. Fresh flavors of red fruit are complemented by a touch of cocoa and accentuated by fine, round tannins. -- Keith Kenison, WinemakerThe wine was aged for approximately 12 months in a combination of American and French oak barrels to build structure and complexity in the finished blend.Enjoy 14 Hands Cabernet Sauvignon over the next 3-5 years with steak, BBQ ribs and spinach lasagna.

FLAVOR PROFILE:The 14 Hands Cabernet Sauvignon features aromas of blueberries and black currants with subtle hints of dried herbs and spice. Dark stone fruit flavors are complemented by a touch of cocoa and accentuated by fine, velvety tannins - Keith Kenison, WinemakerBlend: Predominantly Cabernet Sauvignon with small amounts of Merlot and other varietiesTHE VINTAGE:The 2012 vintage was fairly typical for eastern Washington and a much welcomed change from the cooler 2010 and 2011 vintages. Bud break started a little earlier than normal but cooler temperatures through the early summer delayed veraison slightly. A warming trend began in late July and dry conditions through mid-October were ideal for fruit ripening.WINEMAKING:• Grapes were sourced from vineyards throughout the Columbia Valley, including the Horse Heaven Hills.• The fruit was de-stemmed and gently crushed to either upright stainless steel tanks or rotary fermenters.• Crushed grapes were typically "...
