Had this along with other Washingtons at a local tasting. This Cab is a little on the sweet side for me. Or am I biased by olive bread I am eating? For more, please visit http://dionyshius.blogspot.com/2012/05/washingtons.html

Deeeeeelicious! I really like it. I just bought a 6 pack at Raley's. I paid only like $9 a bottle with sale price and 10% discount. This wine has great fruit, a little vanilla and coco, a little oak but not dry, and even though it is 13.5% alcohol you can't even taste the alcohol. This wine is a heck of a great deal. I could down this right out of the bottle. I think this wine is worth over $20. I know that the 2009 got a Thumbs Up value of $24 - if I am remembering correctly, which I think I am, because I have a memory like a zebra.

Very good wine for the price. Sharp, tannic flavor. Smells a little musty, but that doesn't carry into the taste.

A light and juicy red, this is fresh and appealing, with currant and floral flavors, echoing gently on the finish. Drink now.

The 14 Hands Cabernet is more tightly wound than its companion Merlot, but the flavors follow the same winning formula, with a heavy emphasis on coffee cream and cherry tobacco. A generous streak of kahlua runs down the spine.

This is an elegant style of Cabernet Sauvignon- Aromas and flavors of blueberries and black currants are complemented by notes of savory herbs, mocha and spice.
