Add your reviewNice dark color. Very earthy nose initially, then some berries come through. First sip is quite pleasant. It starts out fruity, then transitions nicely to an almost smoky taste in the mid palate. The finish is smooth, with very little tannic bite that I have tasted in many wines at this price. I really did enjoy this wine, especially for the price! Another good wine from the Ste. Michelle Estates.
I actually would give this a 3.5 out of 5. Especially for the money. Not the best cab in the world, but certainly a decent one. It's an "all around" cab, but I will probably explore other cabs.
Full bodied, extremely smooth... velvety, VERY little tannic. I was surprised when a friend that typically does not care for wine tasted it (I let that one slide)... and LOVED it. They ordered a glass for themselves. We may have a convert!
