Condrieu is the only Rhone appellation that is 100% Viognier. In other areas, besides rare varietal releases, small amounts of it are used as a blending component to red Syrah for body. • Laurent Miquel Viognier Nord Sud 2012

    Snoothrank:

Bottom line: Rich, luscious, and delicious. Milk chocolate and tropical fruit with whipped cream on top mingle with pineapple and lime. The sweet, delicate finish turns into pink and orange fruits on the palate. Clearly, this grape has an affinity for oak and late summer nights. A+! Read More

Slightly spicy, honeyed aromas with good floral notes. Nice and juicy, a little oily with a touch of cream, this wine is just enough bite to grab hold of and enough fruit to keep it interesting. For 14 bucks it's a great value. Read More
