I got so excited about dolcetto this year, see my report on The Return of Dolcetto, that I almost forgot about Barbera! I love Barbera. I work very hard at my profession even though I have scaled it down to 3 days per week. After my work I love good food and love to imbibe i... Read More
This wine was made form the Symphony grape which is a cross between Grenache Gris and Muscat of Alexandria. It has a light floral nose and a soft fruity taste with a little tannin in the middle and ends very smoothly. This was a very pleasurable wine I would purchase again. Read More

Baywood Cellars in Lodi makes a marvelous award winning Symphony.
This comment might be considered a timely follow-up to the recent Snooth items on BYOB restaurants.Over the last thirty-something years my wife and I have enjoyed several cruise vacations. We are now booked on a 14-day cruise to Hawaii that departs from and returns to Los Angeles. It had never really occurred to me that I could bring my own wi... Read More
Crisp, sweet and fruity, with just a hint of pepper on the finish. Delicious alone, paired well with spicy salmon and chicken curry. Read More
