  • Morning gents! I'm about to start a thread where we try to come up with the names and URLs of each wine that was there last night. And I want to echo what Eric wrote, I've always known I like reisling, but the 94 Steinmetz was a real treat. Tasting notes on all 30 odd wines to follow

  • Eric, I am glad you enjoyed the Steinmetz and Doennhoff. I think it was good to have both a very young and an aged Spaetlese next to each other, just to see how wonderfully this grape can mature in the bottle. I am looking forward to your tasting notes.

  • After having dinner last night with all of my fellow snooth members and working through all of those "That" bottles. I have to say that the two Rieslings I had were my favorite wines of the night. I'll post some tasting notes soon. For now, I'll say, I am officially converted.
