Regent

This red wine is a recent cross of white (Mueller-Thurgau and Sylvaner) and red (Chambourcin) grapes. Regent is named after the famous 141 carat brilliant worn by many European regents such as Napoleon. Regent is an independent, full bodied wine of Mediterranean character, yet milder and smooth. The tannins and acidity are well balanced, so it is a good companion for acidic or tangy dishes. – Description from Helga

I had never tried a wine from Denmark before, and I was honestly a little skeptical about how it was going to turn out.
