  • Pares Balta Brut Nature

Decent, organically sourced Cava; nice effervescent which keeps on bubbling - better than some Champagne in this regard. Tends to citric notes (lemon peel, with some root-like bitterness). Less balanced than past incarnations, but decent value. Clean. 86. Read More

  • Roger Goulart Cava Brut Gran Reserva 2011

Creamy vanilla and buttery brioche notes with soft and fleshy melon and peach aromas on the nose. Tart, zesty and flavorful on the palate, this brings nice citrus notes of lemon and grapefruit with hints of green apple and pear and a fresh acidity and stinging bubbles adding freshness.90 pts Read More
