Muscat on Snooth

  • I started a bottle of Domaine Pouderoux Muscat de Rivesaltes one of France's 'Vin Doux Naturel's with my supper of quiche and cheese whilst I watched TV. I then saw the sad news of the death of the famous comedian Ronnie Corbett. He really was a comic genius. The wine was lovely so I raised a glass to him. Read More

Varieties such as Muscato really benefit from being youthful when consumed so they should be enjoyed while still fresh and fruity. However, if you happen to like the characters of 10 year old Muscat then that’s great!  Drink wines when you want to enjoy... Read More

Meh - I've had better. Nice light bubbly moscato. Not as sweet as some, slight bitter grapefruit. I got it at half price and it was worth that. Read More

  • Noble Vines Muscat Canelli Reserve San Bernabe Vineyard 2014

    Snoothrank:

Oh Yum & OMG ! Most excellent Late Harvest Muscat I think I've ever had. Such a great flavor of pears & lycee. Clean finish, especially for Canelli, and perfect legs. Their label leaves a lot to be desired; very blah looking and says nothing about the contents. But oh those contents ! Goes down EZ - just need a straw. Read More
