  • Cadet d'Oc Moscato 2011

    Snoothrank:

Yuk. Label promises intense tropical fruit with notes of Rose & Jasmine. Nope, not to me. What I taste is very pungent. Dry, slight bubbles, almost amber color. That's about it, cracker please. Read More

  • Gabriele Moscato 750m

    Snoothrank:

I found this bottle of wine in a local shop. I like sweet wines and was a little skeptical at first when the bottle said sweet white wine for a Moscato, as i have tried a few that said they were sweet but did not please my palate. I loved this wine from the first sip. I will continue to purchase it as long as the store carries it. Read More

  • Dear Magtrev, indeed Saxonvale is long gone. I remember visiting them in 1982 ... ... tag is true, and the Muscat originates from Rutherglen, and it is now 40 to 60 years old, and hopefully is in drinkable condition, then it is actually worth a bit as a curio, perhaps at auction. About A$50 to A$200 depending on condition and the market that y... Read More
