Merlot on Snooth

  • Speaking of B.C. I got this one from DVogler when he was down for the Syrah ... ... together. The blend of Merlot, Cab Franc and Cab Sauv is very tasty. Black currants, leather, graphite and good balance. The tannins are still quite young and firm and I could see this going another 10 years with ease.. Thanks for the sample! Not quite the rig... • Bogle Merlot California 2012

    Snoothrank:

$8.99 at Trader Joe's. 2012 vintage. A little higher acid on first opening, but aerates into a very fruity, bold wine. Overripe cherries, strawberries, some blackberry. For those looking for a full-bodied, deep, complex wine, the 2012 Bogle Cab hit a better note, but I would definitely buy this wine again. Would serve to guests. Read More
