  • Wonderful bottle of Markham Napa Valley Merlot 2013.  Dark cherry, plum and some dark berry fruit.  Some cassis leads to earthy notes a tad bit of wood, spice, moderate tannins and good acidity.  This has aged well and could last to 2-3 more years. Read More

  • Chateau Carignan 2015

Once again, this modest property does not disappoint; the merlot element dominates, to be sure, but there is the deep, cassis element of Cabernet present which lifts the wine to near Cru pretensions. Plenty of chocolate, coffee and black currant here - with a long finish. 90. Read More
