Malvasia Bianca on Snooth

  • Everyone, hope you got something out of all this. We definitely had a great ... - Kenneth Volk. We tasted Malvasia Bianca, Verdelho, Negrette, Blaufrankisch, Touriga Nacional and Aglianico with a bonus pour of their Old Vine "F"Red which is a blend of Cabernet Sauvignon, Zinfandel and Touriga Nacional. They had to pen in the "F" due to some ki... Read More

  • Thanks Larry, I've seen you on Berserkers (where I lurk more than I post), ... ... We sampled a 2014 Malvasia Bianca, 2012 Verdelho, 2012 Negrette, 2012 Blaufrankisch, 2012 Touriga Nacional and a 2011 Aglianico. All were really good but the Negrette and the Aglianico were outstanding and reasonably priced, nothing over $36.  Next up was our 1... Read More

  • Had a great first full day here in south central California. Started off with a very good breakfast at the ForFriends B&B in Santa Ynez. • Box wine, depending on who you ask, is either the future of wine or the ugly ... Gewurztraminer, Viognier, Malvasia Bianca, Sauvignon Blanc,  and more -- which is a sure conversation starter in and of itself. Retailing for around $17 and clocking in at 13.5% alcohol, don't let the whimsical packaging lure you into thinking that there isn't a s... Read More

  • Woodbridge By Robert Mondavi Malvasia Bianca California 2009

    Snoothrank:

Oh ya fabulous. Sweet, light, fruity. No bitter aftertaste. Similar to a muscat, but with a hint of dried apricot. We snacked on pepperoni & white cheese while sipping this, and enjoyed it quite a bit. Read More

A pleasant surprise. Similar to a Muscat wine. Lightly sweet, crisp peach/apple taste. Floral aroma. Give it a try. Yum. Read More
