Description: Lemberger produces dry red wines with rich, tart cherry fruit, subtle spice and balanced tannin. Most versions are aged in tank or older oak but some producers use new barrique. 

 

Characteristics: Body: (Med-Full);  Flavors & Smells Of: (Cherry, earth, spice).

 

Wine Styles: Dry red.

 

Origin: Indigenous to Austria. Natural cross of Heunisch and unknown variety.
