  • Just keep waiting, that's the ticket.I opened a bottle last night that I ... It was an '09 blend of Grenache, Mourvèdre and Counoise. I purchased two bottles when it was released. Drinking the first one early I felt it needed a few years to integrate. This second one was a dud. Had a flaw. There was a strange sediment in it that I decanted off... Read More

  • Les Clefs d'Or Chateauneuf du Pape 2009

This little gem from the 2009 vintage is perfect for drinking now: the nose evokes sweet cherry on a bed of wild herbs and a hint of cake spice, and the entry is cherry with a touch of cola and allspice. Finish is soft and slightly off-dry... perfect balance with mild tannin. 89. Read More

This was really very good and needed about 45-60 mins of decanting time open...but when it did, damn! Juicy black berry fruits, spice dusty earth, pepper are finished off with drying tannins, framing acidity and medium length finish. Drink Noe - 90 points - Paul Read More
