An instant almond rush on nose. In mouth, citrus fruit then distinctly floral right at the back of an extremely deep palate. Oak ageing gives a toasted nutty finish, ending with a refreshing touch of bitterness.

Lacks the bounce a little bit for my taste, but is a rounded medium-bodied white; paired well with a lightly grilled Hawaiian pork chop (with pineapple and cinnamon) but could use a little more mineral tone.

I thought it was excellent--not too sweet and not too dry. It's comparable to Le Colture Italian sparkling wine. Very smooth and addicting.
