  • Nice one Chip, Canaiolo is a fairly common blending grape for sangiovese. It adds some oomph and flesh. It's not terrible successful on it's own but work wonders in a blend. Vino Nobile is a region that doesn't get it's due. Gotta work on that!

  • We has a 2003 Seghesio Chianti Station last night. These are very old vines of ... County. The family blends in Canaiolo and a couple of white grapes to make a killer chianti style wine. If you ever find a bottle buy it. Cheers-Dere
