You can tell if you are stronger by keeping track of the weights and reps you do each workout. Gains are more dramatic at the start of your program. In the initial stages, you should be able to raise your maximum weight by about five percent after two workouts. If this type of progress is not being achieved, you should look over the things you are doing wrong.
