Posted by Michelle511, Dec 1, 2008.

Can anyone recommend a wine merchant that offers 2 and 3 pack wine gift sets for delivery in and around New York area.
Many thanks Michelle

Hi Michelle,

Welcome to the forums!

Many retailers offer gift packs. Astor Wines where I used to work just unveiled their season's offering. While a pack is an easy way to buy a gift the selection is not always the best. I am sure all the major area retailers will have gift packs but you might want to consider assembling your own two packs to make yur gifts more personal.

I work at Astor currently We've just released our 3-Packs, and I'm pretty sure the delivery within New York is free.

The only thing I would suggest is to order early to get it in time for mid winter gift giving. Also, you may want to throw some nice wrapping paper on, I must admit, out boxes are a little dull. Next year I will push for something fancier.

Here's the links:

p.s. That Greg... stand up bloke.

Thanks Rob - it seems to be a service that isn't as common in the USA as it is here in the UK - I will definitely place an order but away tomorrow until Friday so will order after then.
thanks for getting back to me. Regards Michelle

Stand up, except many Friday and Saturday nights after, oh say 11:30, in which case I am more of a reclining, no Im awake, yup, sort of bloke.

Is stand up bloke a commissionable position. Incentive wines!

Rob I've subscribed to your site but your online ordering appears limited to US clients so every time it needs state and zip code whereas we work with counties and postcodes. Also phone no. seems to be difficult to log - how do I order from the UK and how do I order giftwrap. Can I email direct ?

regards Michelle
