In 2010 Manchester United Football club entered into a sponsorship deal with South American wine producers Concha y Toro, South African Fairhills now (controversially) sponsor The Big Issue Magazine here in the UK. Also the recent Football and Rugby world cups had Namaqua & Brancott Estate's backing.
Just makes me wonder how many more companies etc are being sponsored by Wine Producers?

I liive in Ice Hockey country and can say that beer tends to be the sponsor of choice - though it would not surprise me greatly if such partnerships arise in future. All I ask is that the random powers that work the engines of providence save us from the horrors of more energy drinks. If you have ever tried Red Bull or Inked you'll know what I mean...
