Wine Pricing

I just returned from Italy and brought back some wine, I was told it was worth some money. When I began collecting in Italy I thought I was going to be able to stay in the states and now I'm moving to a smaller home overseas, and can't bring my wine. How and where is the best way to sell wine? And am I crazy to sell this or should I store it at a friends house.

The wine is from Italy's Peidmont region and are reds ranging in years 1997-2000.

What are they, and how many?

A lot of variables in your situation that I'm not aware of, but depending on what the wines are, your options for storage, etc., it's generally better to store them and enjoy them later than to kick yourself later, wishing you had kept them. Selling wine is possible, but not always easy, and if the wines are good ones you'll likely get more enjoyment from the drinking, rather than the selling, process...

Yes, what are the wines, in what quantity, and what would the conditions of storage be?

I thank you for your replies, I have chosen to keep my wine and store it at my parents house. When I told them what my plans where for my wine collection, my dad brought the truck to pick up and store my wine in his make shift cellar of sorts. Needless to say he was not going to allow for some great wine to get away. By the way here are some of the wines I have:

1. Pio Cesare Barolo DOCG 2003 5 bottles
2. Pio Cesare Barbaresco Il Bricco DOCG 2003 5 bottles
3. Tommasi Amarone Della Valpolicella Classico 2004 4 bottles

They are all in the original cases and some are signed

You will be glad you kept them.

Now to make sure no one is sampling them in your absence!

The Tommasi Amarone 2004 is not a good wine, its a wonderful wine, had it once at a company wine tasting.. and it blew me away... bought couple of bottles, which vanished within a weekend... but it was worth every penny, Amarone are generally good wines (and somewhat expensive) but this one is really one of the best.
