Wine gifts

A couple of years ago I received a gift of 2 bottles of wine from someone's trip to France. I tried to locate these wines online to see if there were any reviews to find out whether they were worth opening now or later. Does anyone know anything about:

Chateau Laroque - Saint-Emilion Grand Cru - 1990
Chateau Rol De Fombrauge - Saint Emilion Grand Cru 1995

Any information would be appreciated!

I snoothed each of the wine names and got these results:

http://www.snooth.com/search/chateau+laroque/1/1/0/125/
http://www.snooth.com/search/chateau+rol+de+fombrauge/1/1/0/125/

This doesnt show you the exact vintage, but does give you an idea over what the newest releases are worth.

Wow - no duds here. Someone chose well.

Chateau Laroque has a pretty good website (in English too) at http://www.chateau-laroque.com/# but there aren't any reviews of the older wines. Rol de Fombrauge is rarely exported to the US and there's not much information about it.

Based on my experience with Saint Emilions, the 1995s are not a long-lived. You should drink that bottle over the next 18 months or so. It is probably at its peak now. 1990 was a sublime year. If you are storing the Laroque properly, then you can keep it another 3 to 7 years.

By the way, Parker rated the 1995 vintage an 88 and the 1990 vintage a 98 in Saint Emilion.
