I am going to be in Vienna for 10 days at the end of June and wondered whether anyone could recommend some wine bars or restaurants with a particularly good wine list. I would love to learn more about Austrian wine while I am there, since not so much is readily available here in the States. Thanks.
Wine bars in Vienna

Though definitely a bit upscale for a 'winebar', you could do worse than have a meal and drink at the Palais Coburg, in Vienna, which takes its Austrian wine most seriously:
Though a bit distant from the capital, the greatest variety of Austrian reds I've ever seen is at Doellerer, near Salzburg. A recent Michelin star:

I just returned from Vienna and there were two winebars we frequented most.
1. Wein & Co. in Stephenplatz which is more of a chain, but we were told that this particular venue was where celebrities went to be and be scene (and it was right next to our hotel) .
2. Zum Schwarzen Kameel (The Black Camel) which is one of Vienna's old wine bars, quite fun at happy hour or anytime and excellent priced wine list for some older vintage Rieslings, etc. Just be careful, this one is closed on Sundays!
A third, which I did not make it to myself, sadly, is the Szigeti (sparkling wine) bar at the Park Inn Linz (only open M-F) Not sure if you're familiar with these wines, but they're delicious! You'll have to let me know how it was :)
