I've posted these two on this board multiple times and I'm still going with them:
--Oak Ridge Ancient Vines Lodi Zinfandel. I think this one is now a tad over $10.
--Rene Barbier Mediterranean Red. This is a non-vintage blend from Catalunya for less than $5.

Being in the Novice class I really don't buy a lot of wines. I don't know whether I should admit it or not but I have been dabbling at making wine for about 20 years. The RED Wine I like and enjoy drinking is Shiraz made from Australian grapes.
Presently I am about to bottle a Pinot Grigio. Sadly it is not clearing as it should.
