Me Vino arrived today. In 1 piece nonetheless!! I got the Chateau Chaintré Mâcon-Chaintré and the Marchand-Grillot Gevrey-Chambertin En Songe. See ya, sort of, tomorrow!

20 1946: Reply by Foxall, Jun 5, 2012.; Thanks to dmcker, I stocked up and am fairly lousy with Gevrey-Chambertin. (I love how that sounds, but 4 bottles isn't really "lousy with" something, is it? I can dream...) So in any case, I'm happy to be tasting the Volnay. Now, if outthere and I could get together, we could revisit the whole "what is 'Burgundian'" thing.

Anyway, I stayed late at work today, so I'm using that as my excuse to be home early tomorrow.

20 1946: Reply by Foxall, Jun 5, 2012.; Just wanted to add that it was a great tasting. I've enjoyed others, but the wine was terrific, the hosts were terrific, and the technology had only a couple minor hiccups. WineBuddy#1 was wildly impressed, and might finally get on Snooth. We had to kick him out so we could eat dinner!
