Sauternes,(France), of course.
Not necessarily the expensive vintages of the King / Queen of Sauternes, the famous vintages of Chateau d'yquem, but the equally
fine offerings of Chateau Lafaurie-Peyraguey.
I have been enjoying the 2006 regularly and introduced a few friends who are thrilled by its seamless beauty and mellow honeyed tantalizing flavour, not to mention its yellow, golden hue.
May I add my lovely Vidal Ice Wines from Pelee Island Winery (Canada).
They are heavenly and never cloying at all.
CHEERS!
