I found a bottle of Maglieri unwooded semillon 1996 in my store which obviously had been overlooked. Is it still drinkable? And with what?

Wandid - hey there. What part of london do you live in? I lived there for 3 or so years: Bethnal Green, Farringdon, Clerkenwell - all in the East End...

I would say that it was meant to be drunk young - within 2-3 years of bottling, so its probably past its prime. Only 1 way to find out for sure though - let us know how it is after you open it...
