If you come to Spain, and visit Barcelona, Gabriella and i offer ourselves up as guides to the best tapas bars and wine shops in BCN, for the price of some tapas along the way. Why you ask? Well truth is we love it when people visit and we've made some great new friends based on people visiting Catavino and asking where to go. Turns out we usually hook up for a drink and next thing you know their taking the train out to our house in the 'burbs for some roof top grilling! So my offer stands, contact us through Catavino and we'll be happy if we're not traveling at the time to show you around, and share some wine stories with you!

16 2: Reply by rictobal, Aug 21.; Although I haven't had a chance to meet Ryan personally we have emailed quite a bit about Spain and the wine there (THE BEST IN THE WORLD!). He is extremely helpful and informative. Anyone would do well to take him up on his offer. (I miss his regular podcasts, though). Actually, I should be out there next year as I'm doing a cooking vacation in the Priorat. We'll be visiting a different Priorate winery every day and even taking part in the harvest at one of them! I'll try to get in touch with you before I head out so maybe we can grab a bite and some wine.
